Pokemon Scalper

An individual ,typically aged between 30-50 and is usually but not limited to being a male, who has reached a new low in life that they will camp out a pokemon vending machine and or a store and wait for a shipment of pokemon cards to arrive. Once the shipment or opertunity to make a purchase arrives, the typical pokemon scalper will transform into a maniacal state and start foaming at the mouth. During a frenzy of them, they can obliterate a store's entire inventory of cards while doing considerable damage to isle and other merchandise mirroring the early days of black friday. Once a scalper gets what they want they return back to a waiting vehicle and sit in the back seat with their gains, they typically are driven by either their parents or significant other who is letting their other partner ride up front. A scalper then goes back home to sell the cards at massively high markup. Thus making it hard for actual pokemon fans to enjoy collecting.

When you or someone is out there just increasing their body count and not trying to be in a relationship at all.

Behavior akin to being a slut or someone who sleeps with just about anyone they can. Someone playing Pokémon games can be male or female, and regardless of the gender, make no mistakes, they're out to catch them all like young ash Ketchum, and they travel the land from gym to gym on some crazy adventures.

Pokémon Nostalgia Cycle

A phenomina in the Pokémon Community. About 8-10 years after a generation of Pokémon releases, the people who grew up with the generations start glazing the games to death. Sometimes generations are skipped in the cycle (like Gen 2 and Gen 6) and usually join another generation's fans (like Gen 2 fans joining Gen 4 fans due to HGSS).

The cycle started off with Genwunners in the early 2000s-early 2010s, then Gen 3 fans in 2013 with "Hoenn Confirmed!", then Gen 4 fans/Sinnohfetuses in 2017, and then Genfivers in 2021. It will likely shift to Gen 7 fans in a year or two since Pokémon Sun and Moon turns 10 next year.
