Get the nice timemug. A software project management term. "Punt Time" is defined as the total time spent across the team in not doing the work. For example, if a developer opens up the issue, reads it, talks to a few people about it, and then decides to work on something else instead, the time spent doing these activities adds to the Punt Time for the issue.
The Punt Time of that bug got so damn large that I decided to just fix the bug so that I can stop attending meetings about it.
