One of the original shopping 🛒 malls in the San Francisco Bay area Bay fair mall opened in 1957 in san leandro california. It is now referred to as Bay fair center and includes a power center as part of its overall package. There are also plans to develop a small transit village adjacent to the mall itself to include high density residential development mixed use business and retail and pedestrian 🚷 friendly streets as well as shuttles and trams allowing direct access to the mall itself.
Bay fair mall is a thriving mixed use center that has been able to adapt to changing times and tastes.
