A typical diaperscaler will receive 10-100's of millions of dollars in venture capital to horde Nvidia H100 GPUs and rent them out to eager companies with .ai domains. Diaperscalers often complain about GPU cluster leadtimes and Nvidia pricing. Most diaperscalers lose money when a GPUs falls off the bus. Tech bros love diaperscalers because they share the same passion for high density large scale compute and storage. Diaperscalers make Silicon Valley techbro's relevant and cool once again!
