Clan

A group of people on an online game that plays together. They can have a very strict social structure, but if you're nice you can rise fast. They can be like family like they are to me. There are often clan wars and you get hit for just being in your clan, or your clan is plain stupid and is allied with everyone. However, sometimes clans go the wrong way.
a) They know you're they and contributing, but refuse to promote you or say thanks
b) You don't talk a lot and they don't know you exist
c) You trash talk too much and get kicked out
