"Dude you just tapped that keg like a pro, somebody get that guy a beer"..."That guy is a party hero"

Get the party heromug. A term used in the MMORPG World of Warcraft, to describe a player who isn't necessarily very good in PVE, but rather spends all of his time PVE:ing, usually Raids, 10 or 25-man.
This type of player usually has a very sharp and clear hate against PVP and PVP Heroes, mainly because he's absolutely worthless in PVP. The typical argument is that "pvp heroes can't pve".
A simple summary is a player who deliberately blocks out 50% of the game because he's incapable of the other half.
There are shit loads of PVP Heroes and PVE Heroes. Neither is quite impressive. If you are a person who is very good at both and enjoys the game as a whole, you are most likely quite exceptional and a rare case. (The definition of good from either side variates. From a PVP perspective, you need Glad title. From a PVE perspective, you probably need to be top 10 guild on the realm and have near flawless PVE gear.
See PVP Hero for the exact opposite.

A very good example is a PVE hero which only goes PVE and has 0 PVP gear and no arena teams with decent rating and/or no rated bg rating and/or no lifetime kills at all.
Another example is a player doing arenas in PVE gear and is usually carried by it. Such as Legendaries.

Get the Anti-Heromug. That person next to you at the gym that is so over the top extra. Can’t just do a normal exercise but instead has to play the “hero” so that everyone else in class knows they are the best. Signs you are a “gym hero”: 1. You always pull the heaviest weights and then throw them on the ground so people hear the thud, 2. You incorporated push-up in with every standard exercises as a way to show off and 3. You do something really abnormal like run at the fasters speeds at the highest inclines on the treadmill to attract attention and praise.
Studies have shown that calling out this behavior to said “gym hero” only amplifies their desire to strut their stuff. Authorities on the matter suggest you try your best to ignore it.

Did you see so-and-so add a clap to their pushups today, (heavy eye roll) who does he think he is, some sort of gym-hero?

Get the Gym-Heromug. Social media has brought us a new kind of "hero".
That's a person that who scared to death of others when in person, yet feels free to insult you most creatively online. That's the lowest form of cowardice.
It's like those people pulling FU signs in their car, knowing you can't catch them as you're turning the other direction or when they see a huge guy coming out his car, hit full throttle or pass out out of fear.
If you can't say it to someone's face, DON'T say it elsewhere, if you have one atom of self-pride in your body!
