A sport in which requires dedication and the will to want to run everyday. Those who run are the only ones who can fully understand how great it is. Though training is hellish, the reward more than makes up for it. People often criticize the sport, but this is because they are ignorant, or maybe even jealous. They say that it is only running and laugh at the small shorts. Cross Country is not nearly as popular as football or baseball, but the fans who come and watch are like no others. Very often, people cannot comprehend why we run and see running as a punishment. It is these people who could never realize, and shall never realize why we do what we do. It is not for glory, but for self satisfation. Cross Country requires more physical and mental strength than other sports.
normal kid: "Dang, today we have to run in PE. I knew I shouldn't have came to school."
Cross Country runner: "Hey, let's go run 5 miles."

A Country Mexican is a person who is Mexican, or Mexican-American who favors the country culture and Southern Lifestyle while still retaining their Mexican Culture. They love Country music, Ice tea, Tacos, Biscuits and Gravy, Guns, and are into the offroading scene. They tend to favor living in the countryside than in a city, dress in boots, and jeans, and are friendly and courteous, as most true southern folks are. Most Country Mexicans originate from the Northern Mexican states like Chihuahua, Nuevo Leon, Coahuila, Tamaulipas and a few others. Northern Mexico is alot like the Southern U.S., where the Cowboy culture is popular. Country Mexicans support the military, drive American vehicles, and most own ranches and cattle. Shiner Bock is a must as Dos Equis. Luke Bryan and Josh Abbott are in the same playlist as Intocable and La Maquinaria Nortena.
Unfortunately, Country Mexicans are shunned by some people saying they are "whitewashed" or forgot their Mexican roots. This is not true, for many Country Mexicans are fluent spanish speakers, and are very patriotic as well. They love America as much as they love Mexico. Texas has arguably the most Country Mexicans in the U.S. Also Known as 'Redneck Mexicans" or "Cowboy/Girl Mexicans" "Vaqueros''..

After reading some of y'alls descriptions of a "country boy" I decided I needed to add my two cents.
Most people nowadays think a country boy is someone who drives daddy's truck, wears camo, listens to new (pop) country music, and drinks beer. Y'all got it all wrong. A real country boy may or may not have been raised in the backwoods, but loves the outdoors and spends a lot of their time fishin', huntin', sittin' around a bonfire with friends, and muddin'. They're generally laid back but do have a wild side. A real country boy usually drives a pick up truck, listens to older, as well as new, country music. They hunt, fish, and stick to their roots. They are hard workers and don't take things for granted. The good Lord above is always the one they praise and they are very strong-wiled. A real country boy expresses his beliefs, although they may be unpopular, and isn't afraid to speak the truth.
99% of us are NOT white trash, ignorant, close minded racists.
A real country boy is kind in nature but very masculine, and always treats his woman with respect. They are generally very polite, old fashioned, easy-going, and genuine.
A true blue country boy works hard for what he wants, loves and treats his girl and family right, and lives for Jesus.
Just because some guy drives a new truck, wears camo, and flies a rebel flag doesn't mean a thing. It all has to do with how you were raised, your morals, and your lifestyle.
