An option in vertical shooters released for consoles (i.e. Ikaruga, DoDonPachi) in which the screen is rotated 90 degrees, so as to cover the entire screen. To be used correctly, the TV most be rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise.
This is the opposite of "yoko" mode, in which the gameplay screen is shrunk so that it fits a TV oriented normally. This results in two bars on the sides of the screen taking up the unoccupied areas. Yoko mode makes the screen very hard to see, and is generally not recommended for vertical shooters.

The act of taking the term "hating" to another level completely beyond reasonable dislike. Mainly known to be used to describe Clemson university since they are taters. See also. Tate.

Tate is an awesome guy. He steal your heart the moment he starts to give attention to you. He is tall, handsome, dark headed, and tanned. He is really good at Basketball. But you worry, because as much as u like him you know his past. He dates girls a LOT of girls. Not all at once but one after another. You know you'll lose him because he won't stay with you for long. At least that's how you feel. You'll feel like he is using you to get close to your friend he has dated and liked in years past. So hang on and love him while you can, because he is sweet and pashionate. But he doesn't know it. So he'll move from girl to girl. When in reality all these years you have really loved him and want him to pick you.
