Derived from the German word for jewelry(notice the jew) schmucka- Jews known for owning vasts amounts of jewelry and also being tight ass bankers and loan sharks were thus often called schmucks during Nazi Germany. Thus someone who is a jew or a tight ass is also refered to as a schmuck.
