The main character of the hit TV series Grey's Anatomy. Merdith Grey is a surgical intern at Seattle Grace Hosptital. Her mother is the renouned surgeon Ellis Grey. Her father, Thatcher, left her at a young age due to her mother's affair with Meredith's boss, Richard Webber. She falls in love with her neuro attending, Derek Shepherd, only to later find out he is married to Addison Montgomery-Shepherd. Derek chooses Addison over Meredith, leaving her borken yet again. She uses tequilla as comfort and has a plentiful amount of one night stands with innapropriate men. Derek soon realizes he is very much in love with Meredith and eventually leaves his wife as Meredith leaves her new boyfriend, her dogs veterinarian, Finn Dandridge. Meredith and Derek struggle to stay together constantly.

We all know Meredith Grey and Derek Shepherd will get married soon enough.
