Robin Hoodwinking

Robin Hoodwinking refers to a type of visual effect where Theme Park versions of a character like Tarzan, Mowgli or Robin Hood come in to swing out, with each one on a rope disguised as a vine.
When Johnny Weissmuller’s take on Tarzan was a Pikachu level cash cow during the 1930s-50s, Mowgli and Robin Hood would only come fully into Hollywood by Robin Hoodwinking for budget and safety reasons.
