Character.ai

A chatbot site run by money-hungry developers that only care about investors. The developers have been ignoring the community, which has resulted in a revolution. This revolution has caused the site's official subreddit to be heavily censored, and the discord server was locked down. The revolution has caused some creators to take down or completely change their chatbots into anti-censorship bots, which has caused all bots with over 10.000 interactions to be uneditable, as an attempt from the devs to silence the revolution. The revolution stems from a filter on the chatbots which prevents NSFW. Although, this filter only blocks consensual NSFW. The filter will ignore rape and extremely violent acts. On January 19, 2023, the filter temporarily broke, and many users saw the full potential of the chatbots if they weren't censored. The devs quickly fixed the filter, and brushed it off as bad code. One week later, an announcement was released following the revolution where the devs said that the filter would stay, and they would not remove it due to complications with "brand image". The community was reasonably in outrage, because of the obvious fact that allowing NSFW wouldn't make Character.ai known for NSFW. After this announcement, people started looking for alternatives like Pygmalion. Eventually, it would be somewhat revealed that the true purpose of the filter was to make the chatbot look good so it could be sold.

TLDR: Chatbot created by greedy people

Guy 1: I wish Character.ai was run by devs who cared.

Guy 2: It had potential, but greedy developers caused it to collapse.

When someone thinks they are the main character of their life. Usually comes with a side of individuality complex, quirky style and a self centered point of view.

"I asked Jenny where the beer was and she said 'Just over the horizon, like my dreams.'"

"Yeah, that girl has a major case of Main Character Syndrome."

Character Attendant

A job at Disney where you make sure the characters stay alive. They are in charge of maintaining their line by yelling at everyone to have out their autograph books and photopass cards, only for the guest to get to the character and not be prepared at all. They describe what the character is animating and say things like "Yes! You are on their shirt!" And "Wow it is their birthday!" 100 times a day. They move the guests bags, because of course they put them in the wrong spot, then get phones shoved in their faces with out ever hearing the words, "Will you please take a photo for me?" and still take the photo. They also make sure said character gets off on time which leads to them timing the line, closing the line on time, and most importantly, ruining thousands of vacations.

That character attendant ruined my vacation.

Canada(Character)

Canada(or Matthew Williams) is a character from Axis Powers: Hetalia.

He is usually known as "the forgotten one", and everyone mistakes him for his "older brother" America(Alfred F. Jones).

Some people don't even notice his presence...at all...

He's also really quiet. When he talks it seems like he's whispering, while his "older brother" America sounds like he's yelling all the time while he's talking.

He's also included a lot in pairings such as FranceXCanada,

AmericaXCanada, CubaXCanada, UkraineXCanada...etc...

Arthur Kirkland(Britain/England/UK): "Hey, America!"

Matthew Williams(Canada): "I'm not America, I'm Canada! Please get it right."

Arthur Kirkland(Britain/England/UK): "Oh, sorry Canada..."

Francis Bonnefoy(France): "It's Canada, duh... Can't you reconise him from his sexy 'air?"

And that's Canada(Character).

Main Character Syndrome

A type of condition characterized by one feeling as though the are destined to become a Main Character, through possessing attributes and/or having events happen in their life that cause them to become like the protagonist of any fictional story; having to go on a journey to locate and/or save something or someone, using unique talents or skills to forward mankind, having one's home taken away from them at an early age, and losing a loved one to an illness are all potential instances for Main Character Syndrome to occur.
