Hood Bots

People (esp. minorities) who live under the poverty line. Their sole purpose in life is to spread discord and chaos in the black community. They act as mindless automatons that wreak havoc among the inhabitants of their vicinity. The communities in which they reside in have their value lowered substantially. By the use and sale of narcotics(ex. crack, cocaine and other illegal substances) they manage to survive, and in fact thrive on the dependency drugs cause among their clientele.

I think i saw Tyrone on the corner selling crack. Its a shame really, he was such a good kid.

Damn... all this neighborhood needs is more niggas becoming hood bots.

Automated robots on Aol Instant Messenger(aim) that constantly go off topic and try to help out the average user.
Known Bots:
-Moviefone(Helps on upcoming movies and ones showing in theaters)
-Smarterchild(Can help on anything needed and usually sways offtopic very quickly)
-HowToUseIM(For beginners just getting aim to learn the basics)
-ZolaOnAol(Now retired but was just like Smarterchild. If you IM her now she will put the same retired message up and offer you to IM Smarterchild)
-AOLSafetyBot(Used to learn how to stay protected over the internet from trojans, viruses, worms and other intruders)

Example 1:"I was talking to this aim bot and he completely didn't know what i was saying!"
Example 2:"Chatting with aim bots is stupid, you should really try and find a friend's screename and talk to them."

Scam bots

Scam bots are the kinds of bots that go on social media websites and will attempt to you scam in many different kinds of ways including trying to get you to get a free movie, get free currency from a videogame, try to get you to participate in their fake giveaway, will offer free hacks/exploits for a videogame, etc. What all of these kinds of ways have in common is that they will all try to get you to click on their link which a lot of times is malicious and can either be a virus, cookie logger, iq grabber etc. Even some sites like ones that give you some kind of reward from downloading apps, doing surveys etc are also considered a scam because you are earning less money in an hour than you would at a real job and its often kids under 13 participating in these so it would be illegal because you cant collect information from kids under 13. It is widely advised not to click on their links unless you have some kind of protection on you like a virtual machine (VM) or a Virtual Private Network (VPN). These scam bots mostly appear on popular websites such as Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Reddit, Tiktok etc.

There are Scam Bots appearing more than ever since quarantine.
