the use of an apostrophe in the naming of aliens in science fiction. Extremely prevalent in turning a common name into an alien-esque name.

Author: "hmm. I need a name for this alien in my book"

Friend: "How about... Jon?"

Author: "No. I will use J'on!"

Friend: "Ah, the use of the alien apostrophe, like Kal'el, Jor'el, Teal'c, Bra'tac, D'on...

Aliana

Aliana is a very kind, careful, cautious person but cares about peoples feelings and sometimes puts people they love before themselves. She is very annoying sometimes and loves to sing and loves music. She's the type of girl that you think is nice, not dirty and clean but sometimes she can be the opposite. As made famous by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Probably used in a time of panic and under the influence of both alcohol and a myriad of illegal substances.

George: "Are we sure we want to make a new Indie movie, I mean the guys not as fit as he used to be and those are classic films?"

Steven: "How else are we gonna fund our habit?"

George: "I'm just struggling with an ending, that's all"

Steven: "Aliens did it."

George: " You haven't read the script..."

Alïnara

Is a name I've created for the woman I love the most, the one who lights up my world and since she is the reason behind my happiness I called her: Alïnara, which represents the Sun of Joy and love.
And it comes from a mixture of many names :
-Alaa: arabic name : آلاء meaning "lots of blessings" (her original name)
-Alaïa: Basque; meaning "happy"

-Eliana: ‘daughter of the sun’
-Ra: the name of the Egyptian sun god
-Amara: a Sanskrit name meaning immortal and peaceful.
-Eleanor: Hebrew origin: 'el' meaning 'god' and 'nor' meaning light "God of light"

Alïnara, is the most wonderful woman on earth, she is lovely, beautiful, smart and funny.
