Actual meaning: spanish for - mare aka a female horse.

Mexican slang: a term used when talking about women, not necessarily derogatory, it is more so used commonly as a means of stating ones special female friend. It is found to be more popular in the country sides of mexico where ranching and farming is usually found.

-So where is your yegua at?
-Shes out shopping right now.

-Oye, y tu yegua?
-Ella se fue de compras.

coined by the group Nappy Roots, and means virtually the same as nigga (as in brother or friend). They didn't just want to say curse words any more, they wanted to be creative with it. Their goal was to take the "n" word out and come up with a more universal word, and yegga was the word.
