to be douchebagged

When you meet someone and at first think they're cool, but later learn (generally after having slept with them) that they are, in fact, a douchebag.
If you go to that bar alone in that dress, expect to be douchebagged.

Because we had some mutual friends, I thought he was a safe bet and went home with him, but when he didn't call after a week, I realized I'd been douchebagged.

to be honest

The phrase "to be honest" is often used as a filler which makes a sentence run on. It is often perceived that one who uses such phrase implies that they often are not honest, so they feel the need to say "to be honest" when they actually are being honest.

to be fair

A phrase which should mean something but rarely does when it's used by sports players - especially British soccer players - and radio/TV commentators. You think the speaker is about to offer a balanced point of view - e.g. "I know I'm critical of X, but, to be fair, he is recovering from a bad injury", but most times, they're just trotting out the same dumb platitudes to fill airtime. Interchangeable with "at the end of the day" and "as I say".
To be fair, it is a Wednesday.

To be fair, as I say, I'm talking into a microphone at the end of the day, Gary
