Eternal Watt Tribe

Eternal Watt Tribe (EWT) aka E-Dubb was founded in 1995 in Modesto, California by a group of friends that just want to hang out & chill. Since the majority of the members was Asians, they were picked on and harassed by other Asian gangs, like the Asian Boyz (ABZ), Crazy Mob Family (CMF), Crips With Attitude (CWA) aka Cdubb, Modesto Hit Squad (MHS), & Devils Of The North (DOTN). By getting picked on from every angles, E-Dubb rises up and fought back, shoot outs, rumbles, etc, you name it, they did them all, at every aspect of being a street gang. So the Modesto Police Department caught on and E-Dubb got labeled as a street gang. E-Dubb started there gang recruitment, and started to recruit not just Asians, but blacks, white, Hispanics, pacific islanders and whoever is down to ride with them. Most asian gangs represent and their turf are from the west side of Modesto, but E-Dubb didn't have a turf, so they recruited every side and every angle, north side, west side, east side, south side, and at one point E-Dubb was the biggest gang in Modesto. Every gang started to die out, but since E-Dubb recruited all ethnicity, they were having new members every year. The targeting recruits are from junior high and high school. The name E-Dubb haven't been mentioned alot through out the years or even now and days, due to their strict rules and bylaws, "if you ever get caught, don't ever tell the cops where you from", E-Dubb are still around and younger members are active as well...

Urban Tribe

Termed coined by french sociologist Michel Maffesoli. Its first widespread use came from his book, "Le Temps des Tribus" (1988). In it's original meaning, "urban tribes" were young city people that gathered in relatively small, fluid groups. These groups shared common interests that were, in general, different from the interests of mainstream culture.

Goths, Skinheads and Metalheads are Urban Tribes.

Tried and True

A phrase, combining two literal words, Tried (an action in which someone has previously attempted to complete or has completed), and True (something that is seen as valid, either by logical and/or scientific validation, or validated by one's own opinions and/or beliefs and experiences).

If one combines these two words into a phrase, it means that the action/scenario that they are talking about has been validated as correct.

It is typically used to describe something that can be positive and beneficial to one's gain or well being.

It can also be generally used during periods of excitement, success, prosperity, and positive acknowledgement.

Person 1: You know you don't necessarily need a tuner to tune your guitar, right? As long as you have the biggest string to where you want it, you can use respective frets onward to accurately tune the rest of your strings.
Person 2: Wow, really? So I just wasted 20$ on this fuckin' piece of plastic? Damn.
Person 1: Tried and True, baby. Fuck tuners.
Person 2: Must be true, I've never seen you use one, but somehow your shit still sounds good.

Person A: None of the weedmen in this town so far have a scale, or so they say. I'm pretty sure I'm getting low-balled. Fuck dude.
