The tornado left nothing to smile about, nature is just fucking miserable when it gets even with humans. If the grief/tragedy/sympathy/hope industry were really rooting for the people and not the tornado, they wouldn't keep following the storms around with their news cameras and their microphones, but they don't give a fuck about you any more than the people asking for donations. They give a fuck about convincing everyone they are still in control of the situation (maintaining power), and that's it.
