Promotion demotion

When the boss needs somebody to do a bullshit job such as a task force or any form of employee committee, but doesn't actually have a real charter for it. Since he can't staff it fulltime, he insists being asked is an honor and volunteers you to work after hours and weekends. The task is usually designated a "special project" with all kinds of BS hoopla. It usually involves no additional pay and little recognition. WTF?!

Promotions

A 4chan meme which started on /v/. Since /v/ is ostensibly a work-safe board, people assume it's completely safe to browse the board at work (hence the name). One day, someone posted a NSFW image, and one person posted "My boss walked by when I had the image open at work, and I got fired." Someone responded "I got promoted," implying he was promoted to replace the first guy. Soon after, when someone posted another work-unsafe image, one person responded "PROMOTIONS!"

People unfamiliar with the phrase's origins believed it to be wholly ironic, and thought it was so hilarious they repeated it whenever work-unsafe material finds its way onto the board, and then it became a true meme.

It should NOT be assumed that bosses like to see their workers watch porn at work.

Promo Hoes

Models who are well on the path to prostitution via Club Promoters and their obsession with a specific club/type of music EDM , House, Hip Hop etc.

There are usually three types of Promo Hoe.

1. The Club Rat : Regular guys or girls who frequent promoter tables or dinners
2. The Atmosphere Models : Models who get paid in money/food/drinks to frequent promoter tables or dinners
3. The Insta-Club Rats : Clicks of Models who are directly associated with one or more promoters usually because they owe them money, live in their model houses or have an agency that has sold their cell numbers or rented them (without their knowledge) to the promoters/clubs to boost their Insta profiles.

All 3 types are usually feeding and bleeding on the music scene.

Feeding on the food, drinks, apts and drugs, whilst slowly bleeding out their own money, dignity and reputation.
