a. used to describe a person who has forgotten that they are posting on Facebook rather than Twitter and have used hash-tags in their post.

b. a person who intentionally uses hash tags in their posts on Facebook in an attempt to look cool or clever.

Hey hashtards, your hash tags don't work on Facebook.

Hashtaggot

One who makes a fool of themselves by going and using the symbol "#" in front of a jumbled mess of words to make it a sentence, or uses the actual word "Hashtag" on a social network that is not twitter.

Hashtag Abuse

When anyone uses a hashtag (simply a way for people to search for tweets that have a common topic and to begin a conversation) on a website, text message, or anything that does not pertain to Twitter. This is quite annoying considering hashtagging only works on Twitter.

(In a text message)

Guy: Hey want to go see Paranormal Activity 3?
Girl: I can't, I have to work :( #IHateMyJob
Guy: That doesn't work on text messages, only Twitter.
Girl: But I do it on Facebook all the time! #FreakingOut
Guy: Oh my God you're an idiot.
