Get the halfacow mug.Hafsa is an Arabic name. It's usually a girl's name. She is the best person you'll ever meet. She is soo smart like Albert Einstein genius level. She's probably a physicist or a mathematician. She loves complex stuff so :physics, maths and chess is her favorite game. The name means' genius ' in Arabic. She's probably Arabian. Always wears black because it's the master of colors and she's the mastermind.
If you are a ' Hafsa' I want to tell you that you are beautiful, smart and the people around you are lucky to have you.

Get the halfaversary mug. This salutation or greeting is similar to "Aloha" in Hawaii. Just as Hawaiians are well known for saying "Aloha!" so are the natives of Guam just as well known for saying "Hafa Adai!" The greeting "Hafa Adai!" is literally translated into English as "What Friend" or "What Partner" But, because the literal translation loses meaning, the best or most close meaning is "How are you, Friend?" Or, "What's up Friend?" or "Hello!" A greeting you would say to someone you consider a friend. In Guam, the Chamorro greeting is a very friendly way of welcoming people. It's Polite, and Friendly. If you see a Guam Bumper sticker in the USA it will most likely say "HAFA ADAI" on it. The correct pronunciation of Hafa Adai is just like "Half a Day".
A Chamorro girl sees a cute Island Boy (Chamorro Boy) walking past her and she smiles kindly and says "Hafa Adai" and he nods and says "Hafa Adai" back.
As they pass each other they both smile. Two strangers greeting each other as friends. :) That's the Chamorro way.

Get the Hafa Adai mug."Hafla" pronounced from the Arabic "Khafla" (soft "a" in the word) is a "get-together" ,party, ceremony for a family gathering, clan, religious ceremony which may have an intimate number of friends or many people invited. For instance an Arab Muslim man can do the Commandment of circumscision for his son in a small group, or honour it with a "hafla" (Khaflah).
It is an Arabic word, though the majority of Arabs are Muslims and some Christians, at a Muslim Khaflah you would not find alcoholic drinks. There might be similar smokeable items which are on hand. There might be Belly-Dancing for entertainment, much food for sure, music, dancing , hookah smoking (nargila-waterpipe).
