gonnegtion

Gonnegtion is term used in the novel The Great Gatsby. Meyer Wolfsheim mistakenly takes Nick for a criminal and asks if he is looking for a gonnegtion. The word is a misspelling of the word "connection" in order to emphasize Mr. Wolfsheim's pronunciation. Many people have been thrown by the word, and have scrambled to dictionaries in hopes of getting a definition.

Gone Gold

A game has "Gone Gold" when the final master copy has been produced at the developer and sent off for replication, packaging and shipment. The game is not yet released, but it will typically be around 2-3 weeks (sometimes less) before it begins appearing on store shelves and online pre-orders arriving at doorsteps. The term itself comes from the old practice of recordable CDs being manufactured with gold film. Hence the gold colored CD actually being the source, with no reference to copies sold as in the recording industry.

Any supporter of that most famous of dimwits...Sarah Palin. They are identified by regurgitating the incorrect babblings of Sarah Palin and/or Glenn Beck. They do nothing but ooze goober stupidity. Teabaggers are goober-minions.
