A word used to describe someone whose very purpose in life is to contradict others.

A Gareth is never happy without an argument and will purposely anger/upset others in order to get his quick fix of elitism.

As a group they often roam around the streets of Grimsby talking about cameras and XBox 360's in small groups.

"Hey dude, Stop being such a Gareth."
