Lucky

Not losing everything isn't lucky, since luck never had anything to do with whrn or where a storm would hit. The grief tragedy sympathy industry tries to tell you how much worse things could be or how much more you could lose as a way to manipulate you into feeling better about not losing everything, and that seems like luck, but you wouldn't call everyday living where you don't lose everything good luck, since luck has nothing to do with it.

There is no such thing as lucky in natural disaster. You're either somebody that got hit by it, or you're someone that didn't, but nobody is lucky.
