The most entitled, pampered, and civilized branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. Perfect branch of the military to be in for those that want to learn new job skills or have an easy paycheck. Most who've deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan just stayed at a main base working 8 hour days in air conditioned offices and only had to worry about the occasional mortar round coming into their compound. To this day, the officers are still the ones that go out to do most of the fighting.

1st SFOD-D (Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta) is the U.S.'s most elite counter-terrorist group that supposedly does not exist. They work deep behind enemy lines. They are also used to train armies and special forces groups for nations that cannot make their own. Their first operation was Eagle Claw, the failed attempt to rescue the American hostages from Iran. They worked with the British SAS during the Gulf War on "scud-busting" missions. They are also currently working in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Chuck Norris was in the movie Delta Force, but that movie sucks.
