Contemporary

If you make music and someone tells you that your music should sound more contemorary, instead of making them a contemporary sounding album, why not just tell them to make their own contemporary sounding music if it's what they like, since the music you make is your own, it's not meant to sound like somebody else's, even if that makes it less popular, at least you didn't compromise your music because somebody thought that's what you should do with it.

Not everybody has to make music that sounds contemporary, if someone likes contemporary music, they need to buy albums by people that make it or make it themselves, not expect every artist to start making the kind of music they like, that's bullshit. If you're a music artist you would think they wouldn't buy tickets to your show if they didn't like the way your music sounded, especially not if you had been making music for a long time and people were still buying albums and tickets to shows.
