The lesser of two evils notion or "vote blue no matter who" is a prominent example of democrats habitually punching left (due to the fact that democrats are right wing capitalist liberals). Democrats fail to understand that they could have just NOT BACKED A GENOCIDAL LIBERAL for their prime candidate for their party and have warranted the votes of actual leftists, except that won't happen because Liberals are right wingers who work in the interest of capital and American hegemony.
