This word defines the "ship name" for Marc Spector (nickname "Moony") and Jean-Paul Duchamp (nickname "Frenchie"), who are both characters from the Moon Knight Comics. In the comics, Marc and Jean-Paul are good friends, but one of the many headcanons, that fans have created is "Moonie" (Moony/Frenchie), which expresses their close relationship, whether it be sexual, romantic, alterous, platonic, sensual, aesthetic or in another way.
