The instinctual desire of your body to sleep above any other activity. This is recognised most easily when lying next to a horny, ambitious and less sleepy partner. However, it is sometimes experienced among bored master-baters and in this case, it's time to rethink one's life.

As I get older, my sex drive is the same...it's just that my sleep drive has gone up.

When you have nothing really important to do, so you temporarily shut down your brain and daydream, a bit like a computer.

Sleep tax

The catch up sleep your body forces (sleeping through alarms, etc) for staying up too late for multiple days in a row.

Man I slept for 12 hours and missed my appointment, I knew I shouldn't have stayed up playing games three nights in a row. Sleep tax is a bitch.

sleep wall

Sleep wall • noun • that feeling you get when you feel like you're going to fall asleep but then it passes and you're fine. Often afflicts those with PopTart deficiencies. Those who do not suffer from sleep walls are known to be excellent spellers. Causes include watching too much Dexter and Breaking Bad. Tennis players are at high risk.
