Common ways to ragebait are acting absolutely idiotic (example: "American is the only language on earth") or saying something everyone disagrees with (example: "Depression is not real." Usually, ragebaiters are trying to sell something, such as an online course. Ragebait is not to be confused with trolling, which is one purely for the poster's own amusement instead of financial profit.
