"Time in Chair" or "T.I.C." means seniority and real-life knowledge a person has most typically at a job.
Even though Bob is my manager and he's got a MBA from Harvard I have more Time in Chair and thus make more money than he does and I also have real experience that he doesn't.

Get the hood time mug.A software project management term. "Punt Time" is defined as the total time spent across the team in not doing the work. For example, if a developer opens up the issue, reads it, talks to a few people about it, and then decides to work on something else instead, the time spent doing these activities adds to the Punt Time for the issue.
The Punt Time of that bug got so damn large that I decided to just fix the bug so that I can stop attending meetings about it.
