Time-Area of Effect (TAoE)

noun

When an event messes with your energy or mood before and after it actually happens.
Inspired by video game “area of effect” attacks, except this one hits across time instead of space.

Example:
If I have to go to work on Tuesday, I’m already tired on Monday and still exhausted on Wednesday.
That’s the time-area of effect (TAoE) of my job.

Usage:
“Bro, that meeting has such a huge TAoE, I can’t enjoy my weekend.”
“Vacations have a positive TAoE. The good vibes start before you even leave.”

Yay Area

(Noun, Informal/Slang) The Yay Area, or simply "The Yay"m is a conjugation of the Bay Area or The Bay, that incorporates the term Yay, both as a play on the word "Yay" to refer to joyfulness but also the regionally-specific slang term "Yay" which was a popular way to refer to cocaine in the Bay Area, popularized during the Hyphy Movement music era, by Andre Nickatina in the song "Ayo For Yayo."

Quiet Area

A quiet area is a location where no birds, cats, dogs or any wildlife can be found our heard.

John: Did you try that new Asian all you can eat restaurant? They say its all chicken but it all tastes different due to the rich variety of sauces they use! In fact you might even believe its not even plain chicken. Only problem is it seems like a quiet area of town for some reason.
