An expression often used to get out of an awkward situation.

This is particularly popular the morning after a one night stand. Either to make your excuses to leave or to hint that the other party should be on their way.
I've gotta go, I have band practice.

I'd can't go out tonight. I've got band practice.

Last night was great, the boys are coming over soon for band practice.

An outmoded commodity, popular among the steaming shitpiles of the clueless, brainless,post-orwellian masses in the late 1990s amd early 2000s, that was prefabricated by AR types to fit a narrow set of criteria (ability to look attractive, ability to dance....I think that's it).
The boy band danced on the corspes of the remaining boy bands.

Like the more well-known saying, "to be on the bandwagon", but it is used when one likes a band before they become cool.
Steve: "I see a lot of little kids like Green Day these days."
Mark: "Yeah, they're all jumping on the Green Day bandwagon now. But us two, we were on the band shortbus. We got "39/Smooth" when it first came out."
