fad band

a term used to describe such bands that have one hit and then fade into obscurity, or bands that are never going to be popular because they are just above garage bands on the food chain but their fans are fiercely proud. bands like showbred, autopilot off, and the backstreet boys.

I have band practice after school on Monday's, Tuesday's, and Thursday's from 3:30 - 6:00 PM.

boy band

An outmoded commodity, popular among the steaming shitpiles of the clueless, brainless,post-orwellian masses in the late 1990s amd early 2000s, that was prefabricated by AR types to fit a narrow set of criteria (ability to look attractive, ability to dance....I think that's it).

The boy band danced on the corspes of the remaining boy bands.

a person (usually female) who has a one night stand with one member of a band, then proceeds on to the next band and has a one night stand with one of their members, and so on.

a groupie, who hops from band to band.

"Dude, she got with that guy from Chelsea Grin, then that guy from Hermione, then that guy from Inn Hell! She is such a band hopper!"
