Govertainment

The blending of civil governance and the entertainment industry that yields politicians:

more concerned about how they're trending
less focused on what they were elected to do
incapable of thought beyond the sound-byte

believing:

they know what's in the public's best interest
that bad publicity is better than no publicity
that they are members of an elite class that must be provided benefits above those around them.

This ultimately leads to politicians becoming actors and far worse, actors becoming politicians while still engaged in their prior profession.

I wonder how much govertainment we'll see this fall?

That politician needs to get a new publicist, his govertainment numbers are really weak.

Governor Hair

Gov. Rick Perry of Texas, an Aggie.

He is considered to be a poor debater and not exceptionally bright, but always has fantastic hair, especially for his age. He was a faithful GOP Lieutenant Governor under Gov. George "Dubya" Bush, and sort of inherited the position in a highly red state. No intelligent Republican (and, yes, they do exist) has bothered to ever run against him.

A: Governor Hair spoke today.
B: What did he say?
A: Nothing memorable, but everyone clapped.

government is like: "whatever it takes to make it's own party constituencies feel warm and fuzzy" in that sense it destroys the ambition and work ethics of millions of people - Less Government is better!!

The workings of our government has taken a threshold in my life. One of my priorities in life is to try to be out spoken about what it means to be an American - which I know should be all inclusive and not just about one party or one organization. Be apart of the solution to justice. Do not be a follower. You do not know who is leading the crowd all the time.

Governor Taft

A Governor Taft is when you sit in an empty bathtub, flip backwards so that your legs are behind your head, hips are lodged to the sides, then your partner turns on the hot water so it hits your taint, and he or she will then cleanse your tafted taint.

It was only a matter of weeks before my new girlfriend was comfortable enough to give me a governor Taft. She wasn't bad for a beginner.
