Alcoholic Blackout is a term for a memory loss after drinking too much alcohol.People who experience alcoholic blackouts often does not remember anything they did or anything that happen in a period after they start drinking.

Alcohol Enthusiast

Essentially an alcoholic in denial

Common traits of an alcohol enthusiast :

1. They deny they are an alcoholic

2. They say they have “complete” control over their desire to drink

3. They have a specific time to drink: for example, only ONE drink a night or ONLY on the weekends

4. They say they “ appreciate”, “ enjoy”, and

“ savor” the taste of alcohol

5. They have a specific cabinet, fridge, or entire room dedicated to storing their alcoholic stash

6. They become agitated and crap or urine their pants when they are unable to drink during their dedicated drinking time

Ex: “ oh I’m not an alcoholic. I’m an alcohol enthusiast. There’s a big difference”
