When a person wins an award that they did nothing to earn and thus cheapening the award in question. Named after conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh when he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom award.

Tom Brady is such a Rush Limbaugh; he did not deserve the Super-Bowl MVP award.

Rush

If there is one word to describe a Rush, it would be legend. Rush’s possess a great personality, peak athletic ability, supreme intelligence, and looks that will drop your jaw. He legitimately cares for those around him and would always put their interests above his own. However, his kindness can be perceived as insincere or fake even though that isn’t true. He’s a total people pleaser and will do almost anything to get you to like him. If his looks don’t get you, his sense of humor will. He is quick to crack a joke in any situation, even if it’s inappropriate. Rush’s need a girl who will keep him in check. He will often be unorganized and unprepared, and will need someone to push him in the right direction. If they do this though, he will treat them right and love them in a way no one else could. Rush’s are one in a million.

Guy - “Bro my girlfriend has been talking to this guy a lot recently.”
Guy 2 - “What’s his name?”
Guy - “Rush”
Guy 2 - “It’s over dude.”

Rush

A band that is good, but is extremely overrated. They have some good songs, but most of their songs are long and monotonous.
Let's face it, Neil Peart is a great drummer, but he can't compare to John Bonham of Led Zeppelin or Keith Moon of the Who, and he has WAY too many drums and cymbals on his kit. He's not the drum god who everybody thinks he is.
I respect Geddy Lee as a good bass player, but his voice is terrible. His voice sounds like a dying cat or a witch.

I can't really say anything bad about Alex Lifeson because I think he's cool, but I don't think Rush is the greatest band of all time like their fanbase does. The fans worship them like they're gods or something.

So all in all, Rush is an okay band, but they are EXTREMELY overrated.

I just listened to Rush and I wasn't very impressed.
