Dumb Clicking

Also known as "dead clicking" is when a person has too much energy but not enough brain power, and starts rapidly clicking (2 or more times in succession) in the same area of the screen instead of saving clicks and keypresses for intelligent and productive actions.

When a song goes into the top 10s (sometimes #1) for a few days or weeks and drops more than 20 points due to it only being streamed by people who are online or their fan base that the general public never picked up.

Barb: Did you see that Trollz went #1?
Lamb: But it dropped over 30 points, it was just a click hit

Outrage-click

The act of clicking on an internet article because it's headline has provoked a sense of outrage within the reader.

The articles are typically clickbait designed to generate a sense of outrage, leading to more page views and advertising revenue. They are rarely enlightening or teach the reader anything new, and could be construed as an intellectual waste of time.

I foolishly outrage-clicked on an article about flat earthers, even though they are ultimately inconsequential and not worth anybody's time thinking about.
