digitally freshen up

A term one can use to excuse oneself from the face-time company of another for reasons of a burning desire to check your e-mail. You won't be comfortable in your conversation unless you check on your inbox for any immediately important messages that need attention. By "digitally freshening up", you have eased the unnatural frequent urge of wanting to peek at your iPhone in your important business meeting.

Before an all day business meeting begins, one person to another: "excuse me while I digitally freshen up, I'll be right back".

A digital or mental infection transmitted via electronic medium. Includes viruses and very bad ideas that are given legitimacy byt repeated transmittion.

Bad ideas or mistruths which are given legitimacy by their repeated transmission to multiple parties are Digitally Transmitted Diseases of the psychological nature. Common and malicious virus transmitted by digital medium of any type is a Digitally Transmitted Disease.

digital retard

Digital retard is a person who has No or low level of competency in use of digital technologies .The low level of digital technology competency could be described by two or more of the following attributes - does not own a mobile, does not have a personal e- mail id, does not know to use internet, refuse/decline to learn use of digital technologies, does not know how to use the remote.

Most of the digital retards live a retired life and cannot be expected to learn new technologies as they have low level of education, remotely situated away from connectivity, live amongst a group of people who are equally digital retards
