When one says or commits something inappropriate or raucous, they often find a Tiede within their immediate vicinity. A Tiede is a teacher who has the unfortunate tendency of always being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Person 1: If you don’t shut up I’m going to grab your ballsack and give you testicular torsion.
Person 2: Oh shit, shut up! There’s a Tiede!
Person 1: I swear to you it’s the Tiede effect!
