Shirt Pull

The pulling of the shirt, near the chest area, making a gap and losening any tightness. This might often be done by transmen or transmasculine poeple in order to relieve chest dysphoria, or in order to indicate to others who know the sign that they are trans.

*person 1 does shirt pull

Person 2: "Hey do you listen to cavetown?"
Person 1: " Yeah, I do, how did you know?"
Person 2: "I saw you do the shirt pull, also I listen to girl in red"
Person 1: "Oh, cool"
Person 2: "Cool"

Push-Pull

The fundamental dichotomy when designing any web application: The business goals/requirements of the enterprise (the "push") vs. the needs/requirements of the end-user/customer (the "pull"). Best visualized with a simple, two-circle Venn diagram. The intersection being the "sweet" spot (no-brainer stuff to do). Some designers/researchers will add a third circle for technological constraints (context), but many effective designers prefer to make that a secondary consideration during early concepting.

This corporate mandate to increase self-service options and reduce traffic to your call centers ignores the push-pull trade-off between cost and customer satisfaction; there are certain cases where the customer really feels the need to talk to someone.

When someone projects vomit onto another ones stairs or other common walkway in a house.
Usually occurs after consuming large amounts of alcohol.
Makes a huge mess to be cleaned up by the stair-owner but creates a great story to be told the following day.

guy 1: Omg that was an awesome party last night
