A conjunction of technology and bandwagon used to refer to those (people or organizations) that adopt technology at the onset of mass usage before understanding its merits and functions.

Company XYZ started using Twitter and Facebook to advertise their product through social media sites without knowing exactly how social media works. They clearly jumped aboard the techno-wagon.
