Definition
(Adj.) A portmanteau of 'consequence' and 'expensive.' It describes an action, emotion, or situation that is both high-cost (draining to one’s energy, time, or mental health) and carries heavy, lasting consequences.

The Logic:
Consequen(ce): The fallout is heavy. You’ll be dealing with the results for a long time.
(Expen)sive: The "entry fee" is too high. It drains your peace of mind, your wallet, or your sanity right now.

Most things are either just expensive or just have consequences. But some things—like getting angry at a bad driver or dealing with the Makati commute—are consequensive. They drain your energy immediately (expensive), and then they ruin the rest of your day or your safety (consequence). It’s a double hit that’s just not worth the price.

When a streaming service i.e. Hulu or Netflix auto plays a Movie or TV show you would never agree to willingly watch--and then you realize Comcast is going to charge you for streaming something that never should have been a thing--EVER!

Non consensual Streaming is when after binging every episode of Homicide Hunter in existence, and several documentaries Netflix auto plays the family friendly kids movie Trolls...

You didn't like trolls as a kid, why?! Just...why? Netflix?

Some bingo players become so incensed at not winning dat dey actually "go nuclear" with their card-daubers, and thus everyone's faces, hands, and clothes suffer dyer consequences. Yet another good reason to not participate in games of chance in da first place!

American conservatism

A political movement whose only uniting principle is an unwillingness to believe that humans are capable of being concerned for someone other than themselves. Typical of moral cowards, they begin with preferable, comforting conclusions before deciding on how to frame an issue to fit that conclusion, if they aren't merely accepting these instructions from Fox News, AM talk radio, shock/cringe message boards, etc.

Who knew that those affiliated with American conservatism has such a history of corruption and dodging of accountability as a basis for policy? Ex. Their response to ramped defense spending in response to 9/11 was to cut taxes for the rich.
