(verb)

The act of attempting a reckless, low-percentage, “clip-worthy” play in Valorant (or other FPS games) with the full intention of throwing the round or even the entire match. To lau is to deliberately sabotage while disguising it as a flashy highlight attempt.

Used sarcastically to justify failure: any missed shot or questionable play can be excused as “just lauing.”

“Why’d you peek mid with a Shorty against an Operator?”
“Relax bro, I was lauing.”

“Stop lauing, it’s overtime. We actually need this win.”

“He said he was clutching, but we all knew he was lauing the second he went for that 360.”
