Jamaica Turner 

Jamaica Turner can be called a joint smoked (or a person) in two situations:
- A person who is used to smoking very bad weed from the last street corner and, after accidentally smoking a really good joint from Jamaica at friends or relatives' house, turns into a stereotypical rastaman who grows his own weed.
- A really bad person who is mean to everyone including gossiping about other people, spreading bad moods and telling lies, but after smoking a really good joint from Jamaica undergoes a personality change and only spreads love and peace

Example 1:
Homie A: Hey brother, let's smoke.

Homie B: OK, but this time we're smoking some of mine, not your poor quality weed.

Homie A: I don't know what's wrong with my weed but ok why not.....(Takes a big hit) 0_0

Homie B: ...what?

Homie A: (throws away his street weed) So di ting set jau, fock my Guzumba weed! I'm traveling to Jamaica and growing my own!

Example 2:
Homie A: Hey, did you hear what happened to Mad Tyson?

Homie B: No, what happend to this motherfucker?

Homie A: Yesterday he was fighting in Tyrones Bar and talking shit, today after he smoked a joint with the jamaicans he walks around with a guitar and sings songs about love and world peace.

Homie B: Jo, that joint was a Jamaica Turner!

Jamaicaned 

A Verb. Usually applies to when on vacation or on a casual excursion, you take your wife/gf to a nice reggae bar for some music and nice times. Shortly there-after every rasta dude in the joint is having his turn with her and many times its more than just dancing!

Friend: Hey Bob, you've been down since you came back from your vacation last week. What gives?

Bob: I didn't what to say anything but while we where in Montego Bay, I took Rita to a Reggae joint and we got ""Jamaicaned"
Now all she wants to do is listen to Bob Marley cd's and have me wear a dreadlock wig while we have sex.

Jamaica

A small, independent island country in the West Indies (Caribbean). Originally a British colony and site of Port Royal, an important naval base and commercial center during colonial times. The country obtained independence from British rule in 1962. Currently famous for ganja, reggae music, the Rastafarian (rasta) religion, and jerk cooking. Home to a population of 3 million, the Bob Marley Museum, and some seriously frightening drivers.

Jamaica Plain 

Jamaica Plain is a delicious melting pot of 2 different but compatible groups. On one hand you have your pot smoking, gray-haired lesbians who cart their adopted Vietnamese/Guatemalen kids to youth soccer via Tandem bicycles. In JP those brave enough to introduce their rat-tailed children to "other" cultures may do so by signing them up for JP Little League where they get plenty of Puerto Rican love and lots of that cheap sugary drink that you poke a hole in the top to drink. While the white people show up to practice in L.L. Bean subarus, the Ricans arrive a dozen to a low-riding honda accord complete with florescent bottom lights and the Puerto Rican flag draped across the rear window. JP has a great shopping center boasting Nubian soap shops and Afro-American/bitter feminist book shop, conveniently located next to the Foot Locker. As you can see JP truly melds cultures and freaks.

Sally: I'm in the mood for some good 'ol crunchy fun.
Jim: Let's go to Wake-Up the Earth day in Jamaica Plain...we can eat lots of tofu, listen to steele drums and get our face painted by mexicans.

jamaicón 

Slang word for homesickness used by Mexicans. Mexican soccer defender José "El Jamaicón" Villegas felt sick regularly when abroad.He missed his hometown and his mother´s food. He even claimed once that his wife was ill in order to escape a training camp. Hence, homesickness was refered to as "el jamaicón" amongst mexicans.
