social hacking

The use of social engineering to gain access to a place or event where you have no business being.
1. Roy wasn't invited to the party but he knew some people there and used social hacking on the bouncer to get in.

2. Frank Abagnale Jr. in Catch Me If You Can escaping his duties as a doctor by making the interns seem incompetent.

3. Joe asked his Dad if he could stay out late, and was refused and went to his Mom and asked her mentioning that Dad had already said it was okay. Joe had been out of the house for two hours before his parents realized they were victims of social hacking.

A facility to incubate nerds and equip them with tools. Currently found in all major cities, hackerspaces exist to pool nerds' resources together and enable them to build and invent ever newer and better things. Most hackerspaces are equipped with rapid prototyping machines (3D printers, laser cutters, CNCs), metal milling tools, welding, electronics, and millinery.
