tribute band

A sad waste of space 'musical' combo who so despirately want to be like their musical heros they try to impersonate them and ended up being paid far more than their worth for doing it. The up shot is that in many cities bands and artists who play their own material are excluded from playing the better venues in the area because all the slots are filled by these third rate karioke clones.

"Sorry lads it's tribute bands only on the weekend" (A phrase often heard by original material musicians.)

When anyone fell a sense of jealousy after seeing a high school,college or university band which is far more superiour than the band they're in.

When the Number one high school band in the state arrived for the state high school field tournement some of the other bands had the severe case of band jealousy.

bandaid friend

This "bandaid friend" can be mysterious, and may be reluctant to let other friends come close confidants. They're very approachable on the outside, but an introvert on the inside. These bandaid friends mean the best, and have a heavy heart for people, whether it's for the underdog, or just a sad person who needs to talk; meaning they're great with secrets.
