Shaming different gaming platform users for their choice of because you believe your choice is superior to theirs so much that you have to brag about it and put them down to make you feel better.

mother-shaming

When someone shames a woman for getting pregnant or being a mother.
People were so mother-shaming toward Sarah by telling her that she wouldn't be able to be a mother since she was a teenager, single, and poor, that she felt pressured into an abortion and later had PTSD from it.

The practice of making those you feel don't do enough for the environment like subpar humans.
After admitting she drank 3 cases of bottled water per week and didn't recycle the plastic, she felt subjected to earth shaming by her peers.

The act of shading or talking badly about a close friend, to someone else. Most probably because they're acting stupid.

When someone calls others out for not following social distancing rules during the COVID-19 pandemic, whether in person or on social media.
When I mentioned to Karen that I went out twice this week for groceries, she told me that I should only be going out once a week at most and that I was putting other people in danger by my selfish choices.
