Originally meant a silly or foolish person. As a way to joke around with the homies then it meant someone you would do anything for. But in 2020 now it means someone you have a crush on / a word used to joke with or make fun of someone especially males who compliment women.
1: "haha you are such a simp" like silly or foolish person.2 : "I would simp for__" like it meant someone you would do anything for 3 : " SIMP!!" like pointing someone out / joke with or make fun of someone especially males who compliment women.
