to either affirm something positively or to end a conversation because someone said some shit you don’t like
1-“You tryna go roll up right quick “
1b-“bet that”
2-“we don’t have to see each other we are just friends”

when you lose a bet, you enter bet debt.
Everyone starts at 0 and if you win you go up +1 but if you lose you go -1. If you continue to lose, you continue going negative. If you win you subtract from your bet dent and go positive.

A reply to a challenge or statement undermining the person, a shortening of "Do you want to bet?" it can be simplified to "Is that a challenge" or "Really? Watch this."
1: "You are way too short to touch the cieling here!"
2: "Oh, bet!" (you wanna bet? / is that a challenge?)

When a person decides to spend a lot of time, effort or money on someone who probably doesn't deserve it. Someone can be a bad bet from either the perspective of the person putting in those resources, or the person can see themselves as a bad bet, not worthy of the effort the other person is putting in.
I am in love with her and she makes me so incredibly happy, but she also has a lot of trauma and emotional baggage and keeps trying to tell me why I should break up with her. She might be a bad bet
